The library was established in 1960 with a total area of 9560 sq.ft. including both ground floor and first floor. The library hours start from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM and follow open access and maintain a quality service for its users.

The college library serves as a resource centre for both printed and electronic resources. The library provides a large collection of reference sources including Encyclopaedias, Dictionary, Atlases, Yearbooks, Handbooks, North-East collection, Women studies, Biography, Religious Books, Rachanabali, Mahatma Gandhi Collection, Aurobindo Collection, Performing Arts, Career Guide, Rare Books, Special Reports and General Knowledge in addition to various textbooks and other reading materials.

he College library uses SOUL 3.0 software for the housekeeping operation of the library. The library facilities OPAC (online public access catalogue) services allow all its users to search their required documents. The College library has also been subscribed to INFLIBNET-ONOS Programme for accessing e-resources and Dspace for open source repository software package for publishing library resources in digital content.
