A Plantation Drive
A tree plantation drive was organized by the NSS Unit of DHSK Commerce college as a part of the celebration of World Plantation Day. (21-March)
Celebrating Republic Day with great enthusiasm. Following the Flag hosting ceremony the students performed various cultural activities.

On the occasion of 73rd Republic Day, the Tricolour Flag was unfurled by Hon'ble Principal, Dr. K.M. Bhagawati, in the presence of the Teachers, Office Staff and Students.
The clear vision, enormous zeal and untiring efforts of the prominent intellectuals and citizens of the region and able guidance by the eminent educationists like late Dr. L. P. Dutt and late Dr. N.K. Basu resulted in the birth of Dibrugarh Hanumanbux Surajmal Kanoi (D.H.S.K.) Commerce College, the first full-fledged Commerce College in the North Eastern Region oflndia. The importance of introducing commerce education in Dibrugarh was felt by the visionaries of the town way back in the mid-twentieth century. To give shape to their vision, commerce classes at the intermediate level was first introduced in D.H.S.K. College in 1945 in the evening shift. The necessity of having a full-fledged commerce college was realised very soon by the students, academicians as well as the public in general which led to the establishment of D.H.S.K. Commerce College in 1960. The foundation stone of the present college building was laid by Late Morarji Desai, the then Finance Minister of India. Dibrugarh University came into being and also started functioning from this newly constructed college building till 1968.

Abrita Bhuyan and Bidisha Gogoi of our college has got Runner-Up in the Inter College Table Tennis Tournament (Team) of Dibrugarh University held at Dhemaji College on 6th & 7th October, 2023. Congratulations and best wishes to Abrita and Bidisha
The students of our college won the Winner prize in Inter College Kho-Kho Competition organised by Dibrugarh University.
The following students of our college has been selected for East Zone Basketball Tournament to be held at the University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya.
Abrita Bhuiyan of B.Com 1st semester got second prize in Intercollege Table Tennis Competition.
NCC Cadet Abhayankar Thakur of B.Com 1st Semester has brought laurel by getting selection for "Guard of Honour" and "Rajpath" for Republic Day Camp (RDC) to be held at Delhi. We wish him bright future ahead.
